Ivan and Lucya Ovcharenko have been serving with Kontaktmission for the last 12 years. They have served as church plantesr, small group leaders, as a teacher for Kremenchuk Evangelical Seminary. Ivan is currently the Director for Kremenchuk Evangelical Seminary. Ivan also serves with the local church congregation as an assistant pastor. Ivan and Lucya have been active organizers of 2 different church plants, and spend much of there time organizing different outreach aprojects fort heir current church plant.

Wisdom for Ivan in directing the Seminary.
Fulfillment of the financial needs of the Seminary.
Protection for his family and wisdom in parenting their boys.

Planting

Church planting is a bit of an undefined term. Mostly because this task is so varied in scope. For many church planter missionaries, their time is spent doing evangelism and outreach. New church plants once established can be fragile and take missionaries with firm spiritual foundations to pastor them to stability. Kontaktmission is proud to have such leaders apart of our team.

Our History

35 years ago European students from 3 different European countries set out on an adventure or more accurately a mission to bring Christ to a continent that most Christian considered to be completely Christianized. This mission so many years later has become one of the largest Multinational mission teams in the Christian world.

Kontaktmission missionaries work in many different areas from church planters to seminary directors. They are from many different countries and backgrounds, but we are united in our one desire to see the Ukrainian people come into a relationship with Jesus Christ.
